By showing that not even body pain, pressure, and difficulty during training can stop them from entertaining viewers, the eight I CANdidates of ABS-CBN’s talent-variety “I Can Do That” have gained admiration and praises from viewers who have watching the show a weekend habit.
Recently, a photo of Cristine Reyes with a bruise above her eye made rounds online after she was accidently kicked in the face by her partner Arci Munoz for their flying sexy girl act.
Gab Valenciano and Daniel Matsunaga, on the other hand, developed blisters on their shoulders while practicing for their pyramid acrobat act. Last week, Daniel suffered a cut after being hit in the face with a yoyo.
Amid the sweat, tears, and frustration, teammates Pokwang and Sue Ramirez (belly dancing with sword balancing) and JC Santos and Wacky Kiray (flow art) remain steadfast on perfecting their routines.
With each Twitter-trending episode, “I Can Do That” draws more viewers and positive comments about the I CANdidates’ skills and determination, as well as the moving stories of the original performers who mentor the I CANdidates.
Twitter user JustPhilOnline said, “This @ICanDoThatPH not just showcasing amazing talents/challenge, but also such inspiring stories behind every talent.” According to @ieatkawaii, “I really love this show. Entertaining, as well as inspiring.”
“Such a great / good vibes show! Looking forward to more extraordinary acts every ep.!” tweeted @tiancastillo. @MayCoBuddiesOFC, meanwhile, remarked, “I am so loving @ICanDoThatPH Galing mga celebrity performers AMAZING! Bravo Team CrisNiel Proud new fan of this show!”
“’Yung nanonood lang ako ng ICDT pati ako emotional. Grabe ang galeng Team PokRay & CrisNiel. Nakakainspired,” said @romanmau4.
As of now, Daniel is the top scorer among the I CANdidates after being named the back-to-back winner in the first two episodes. Which pair will win this weekend?
