Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo recently celebrated her 21st birthday.
To show his gratitude to Kathryn, a fan shared a story of him and his mom with the Queen of Hearts!
A writer named Julian Mauricio posted a photo of Kathryn and his mom on his Instagram account. He then recalled the time when his mom suffered from Hemorrhagic Stroke, a condition where a weakened blood vessel ruptures.
Julian’s mom ended up in St Lukes in Quezon City. He shared, “As the days went by, our hospital bill ballooned until it was in the millions.”
That was the time when Kapamilya actress and her on-screen partner Daniel Padilla offered them some financial assistance.
So far, Julian’s mom is doing fine and has undergone speech and occupational therapies.
In the end, Julian couldn’t help but to thank Kathryn for saving his mom’s life as he described the 21-year-old as the girl who is “blessed because she’s so kind.”
