Unknown to many, Arnell Ignacio is one of the closest people to Senator Leila de Lima. He was one of the people who can talk delightedly to the senator.
He also attempted to cool things down between De Lima and President Rodrigo Duterte, if the former was not arrested.
“Ganyan naman yata tayo. Sino ba naman ang gusto ng hati-hating bansa, ‘di ba? he said.
Meanwhile, the former TV host turned down the suggestions that he should be the Communication Officer instead of Martin Andanar.
He emphasized, “Kanya-kanya na kaming responsibilidad, pero sa huli’t-huli, ang paglilingkod sa gobyerno ay higit sa pansariling interes o pagpapalapad at pagpapabango ng papel sa publiko.”
Ignacio then stressed that his job is quite difficult but is enjoyable nonetheless.
