The month of March has finally arrived to bring hope to Aljur Abrenica.
It is the time when his 5-year contract with GMA Network will expire. For a struggling actor like Abrenica, it is the time to reflect whether he will stay to his mother network or move to a new environment.
It will be remembered that the 26-year-old once sued GMA Network in 2014 after the demands of his contract were not met.
Despite the legal battle with his home network, Abrenica bounced back and was blessed with new series titled “Dangwa” with Kapuso actress Janine Gutierrez in 2015. During the launch of “Dangwa,” he confessed that even though there was a “misunderstanding”, the network had never failed to support him. He also starred in 2016 Kapuso prime time series “Once Again” with love team Gutierrez.
During his problematic years, he contemplated of leaving the entertainment and venture in other things.
Whether he leaves GMA Network or not is up to Abrenica. We’ll see…
