Kapuso fans have been looking for the ‘missing’ AGB Nielsen ratings since March 13.
Many have speculated that AGB has been ‘hiding’ their data to cover up GMA Network show’s low TV ratings.
Well, it turns out that their speculations were quite true when the TV ratings of both GMA Network and ABS-CBN’s primetime shows, dated March 24, accidentally leaked.
The data was revealed to be the NUTAM People Ratings, which became the new source of ratings for GMA Network just recently. The unofficial figures was posted in Pinoy Exchange.
People Ratings revealed that GMA Network’s flagship shows were beaten by its rival. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” has proven to be the undisputed when it scored 12.4% versus 11.8% of Encantadia.
Meanwhile, the debut series of AlDub, “Destined to Be Yours” was destroyed by “My Dear Heart”. The once phenomenal love team was crushed by a child wonder after “Destined to Be Yours” got 8.4% rating, a 0.9% difference to “My Dear Heart’s” 10.4%.
Up until now, netizens are still wondering what happened to AGB Nielsen and why it has suddenly remained silent about the TV ratings.
Nonetheless, many people especially advertisers are still hoping for AGB Nielsen’s fairness and transparency.
