At the anniversary press conference of the Kapamilya sitcom “Home Sweetie Home” on January 31, actor John Lloyd Cruz was asked if has plans of having a child.
But in spite of what he said, the actor admitted that he is envious of his co-actor Toni Gonzaga, who is now a mother to 4-month-old baby Seve.
“But siyempre, it also teaches you about patience and faith. Na parang one day, alam ko, it will also happen to me,” he added.
Cruz confessed that he once talked to Gonzaga about his covetousness of having a partner and a baby. Gonzaga advised him: “huwag kang maghanap, darating ‘yan nang kusa.”
The actor also professed his mother’s desire to see him with his first child.
Asked if he’s willing to “make a baby” even if he’s not yet married, Cruz said, “Well, sana, hindi (mangyari). Sana, magkaroon ng partner, and then, maging asawa at magkaroon ng pamilya.”
The actor emphasized that he will focus on the things he wants to do while waiting for that right time.
Meanwhile, the casts of “Home Sweetie Home” thanked the public, through their video greetings, and the press for making “Home Sweetie Home” the number 1 sitcom every Saturday night.
