Kapamilya actress Liza Soberano is the subject of online sexual harassment by the Facebook page called Pink Pototoy IV.
The said page posted a meme of Soberano with the logo of famous porn site Brazzers with the caption: “From cam shot to cum shot real quick.”
The page’s followers were quick to react on the meme. However, instead of criticizing it, most of the them chose to support and make fun of it.
For example, a certain Jhay Ar Flandez sarcastically commented: “Respeto naman kay liza Suboreno huy!
What’s more surprising is the meme received thousands of ‘like,’ ‘haha’ and ‘love’ reactions.
Fortunately, there were still gentlemen in the comment section condemning the post of Pink Pototoy IV…
…even though the page was degrading the Kapamilya actress.
Another netizen named Ryan James Cabiente defended Soberano and said: “Bat kayo nandadamay ng iba isipin niyo babae din yung nanay mo paano kaya pag may nag post na ganyan din tas mama mo nakalagay maasar ka din di ba?”
Surprisingly, the page and its followers rebutted and said that people who defended Soberano were a bunch of hypocrites.
Even its female followers supported the meme and claimed that the Pink Pototoy IV is for “open-minded” people only.

Hence, a petition was made for Facebook to take the page down.
As Facebook becomes a regular tool for communication for Filipinos, we should be more responsible in using it.
