After the lackluster performance of their prime time series “‘Till I Met You,” James Reid said that he and his girlfriend Nadine Lustre are now ready to be paired to other actors.
In one of his interviews, Reid said that he can adjust to the situation if he was paired to other actress.
“Siguro, maninibago kami pareho if ever,” he said.
He stressed that he and Lustre must be paired to other actors so they could grow as performers.
“Kailangan namin, kumbaga, mag-variety for both me and Nadine to grow as performers.”
The actor also highlighted that the decision will still depend on their respective management.
He said: “But that, of course, will depend on our respective management. Sila ang bahala ng projects na gagawin namin individually with other partners.”
He further explained assured that they will be the love team who loved by public and that their personal relationship will never change.
“Ang tiyak ko, whatever happens, our personal feelings for each other will not change,” pahayag ni James.”
Last year, Reid and Lustre was put to test when they encountered both success and failure. The first half of 2016 saw JaDine as one of the top-grossing love teams when their film “This Time” grossed over P15 million on its first day—doubling the earnings from their past movies.
Unforunately, the second half of 2016 became shaky as their recent series “‘Till I Met You” received mixed reiews from viewers and eventually suffered from low ratings.
