ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, gives the sports highlights of the day with a fresh perspective and analysis, through “Gametime,” a 30-minute sports newscast hosted by up and coming sportcaster Migs Bustos. It airs Mondays to Fridays from 9:30pm to 10:00pm.
Bustos is a seasoned commentator for the National Collegiate Athletic Association and contributes articles and analysis to ABS-CBN’s online sports hub, sports.abs-cbn.com. He began his career as sports analyst for ABS-CBN S+A sports channel’s “The Score,” DZMM’s “Fastbreak,” and ANC’s “Hardball,” before venturing into newscasting as an anchor for “ANC Headlines.”
In “Gametime,” Bustos will recap the day’s biggest sports stories while engaging viewers with segments like “Going Social,” where he shares social media reactions to the games, “Fan-Stat-Stic Lines of the Day,” where he discusses the best stat lines from the day’s top performers, “The Lookahead,” which previews the next day’s biggest sports events, and “Stuff Happens,” which turns the spotlight to the lighter side of sports.
The program also does live interviews with today’s top athletes and sports personalities like mixed martial arts champion Eduard Folayang of One Championship, incoming UP Fighting Maroon Bright Akhuetie and Olympic silver medalist Hidilyn Diaz.
“Gametime” is just one of the shows ANC will be launching this year as it further cements its position as the gold standard and primary source of Philippine news and analysis for the country’s business leaders and key decision makers.
Catch Migs Bustos on “Gametime” on ANC and ANC HD from Monday to Friday at 9:30pm. For more information, visit news.abs-cbn.com/anc, or follow ANC on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ANCalerts) and Twitter (@ANCalerts).
