Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is coming back on prime time soon!
On her Instagram account, Rivera revealed that she had had meeting with GMA executives Vice President for Drama Redgie Magno, Senior Vice President for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable, Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, and her manager Rams David.
Rivera teased her fans that she will finally return to GMA’s Telebabad block soon.
She wrote in the caption: “Thank you to my GMA Family who always comes up with so many wonderful offers/projects for me. This year it’s time to get back to work, and return to primetime… ayieee malapit na! #Exciting.”
Rivera’s last series where she top-billed was “Carmela: Ang Pinakamagandang Babae sa Mundong Ibabaw” with Kapuso prime star Alden Richards. It was aired in 2014 and had a 16-week run.
Then, the actress was supposed to return on prime time block through 2015 series “The Rich Man’s Daughter.” She was supposed to play a lesbian character with Kapuso star Glaiza de Castro. However, Rivera became pregnant and was replaced by another Kapuso star Rhian Ramos.
In 2016, Rivera continued her work as a host in Sunday variety show “Sunday PinaSaya” and her own now-defunct talk show “Yan ang Morning.”
The month of May marked the last hurrah for Rivera’s prime time career as she will soon give birth to her baby.
She had a 2-week participation in the his telefantasya “Encantadia,” where she played the slain Reyna Minea.
Now that the Kapuso Primetime Queen is back, our prime time will never be the same again. Prepare for the bolder and better Marian Rivera this 2017!
