The controversies surrounding the Philippine bet Maxine Medina and former Miss Universe Gloria Diaz has not been yet subsided.
In an interview with Jessica Soho, Gloria Diaz was asked about her opinion regarding Medina’s performance.
“I think she did perfect! Ang galling-galing n’ya,” she proudly said.
“Actually, while I was watching [Miss Universe], ang lamig-lamig ng kamay ko. But you know, this is our country—you have to wish that everybody was happy. ‘Yun ang pinakaimportante,” Diaz said.
Asked about her message to her bashers who got mad when she fearlessly predicted Medina’s lost, Diaz said, “O ‘di ba tama ako?”
The former Miss Universe has earned flak from netizens after saying in in her interview with Karen Davila that Medina is a “saling-pusa” in the pageant. She also claimed that the Top 6 finisher couldn’t be the next Miss Universe because the Philippines is its host country.
