- Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza said they don’t feel pressured over the pilot airing of “Destined to Be Yours.”
- In contrast, one of the GMA bosses said they are pressured because they cannot fail.
At the grand press launch of their debut film “Destined to Be Yours,” Kapuso actors Alden Richards and Maine Medoza said they are not pressured over the pilot airing of their debut series.
However, the Vice President for Drama Redgie Magno said that GMA bosses are the ones who really feel the pressure because, according to her, the AlDub series cannot fail.
“Sa totoo lang, dito, ang mas malaking pressure hindi doon sa dalawa eh—sa amin,” she said.
She continued, “Sa amin ang malaking pressure kasi nga it cannot fail. Talagang dapat it should work.
“We should do everything to ensure that it works. Medyo malaking pressure ‘yun sa amin, sa producers.”
She added that they should please not only the Kapuso fans but also the AlDub fans that are waiting for an AlDub series.
“We have to please the AlDub Nation. Mabigat na pressure iyon sa producers,” she emphasized.
Last week, the Kapuso love team was reported suffering from colds, leading to hospitalization of Richards. It was reported that the main cause of the two stars’ sickness was due to stressful taping of their debut series.
