The country’s “Dancing Queen” is back… and she’s hotter and fiercer than ever!
After judging the delegates of the 65th Miss Universe, the 1993 titleholder decided to prolong her stay in the Philippines.
Torres made a lot of projects in the country during her heyday. From acting to hosting, the former Miss Universe surely knows how to capture every Filipinos’ hearts. Hence, the Puerto Rican star is coming back once again to her mother network, ABS-CBN.
The beauty queen listed her schedules in her social media accounts.
On February 2, she visited the set of the morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda.” She also did a taped interview in “Magandang Buhay” which is scheduled to air on February 7.

Torres is also scheduled for a one-on-one talk with Karen Davila in “ANC’s” Headstart on February 3. And on February 5, she will grace the anniversary presentation of “ASAP,” where she became one of its pioneer and main hosts back then. “ASAP” is set to bring back SayawNara as a tribute for Torres for being the country’s “Dancing Queen.”
On February 6, Torres will appear in the noontime show “It’s Showtime.” Then by evening, Filipino fans will have a chance to watch her interview with Boy Abunda in “Tonight With Boy Abunda.”
In addition, her taped interview with Vice Ganda in “Gandang Gabi Vice” is set to be aired on February 19.
Moreover, Torres is rumored to do a film with Piolo Pascual. If the rumor is true, then it would be her first Filipino movie in 18 years. The former Miss Universe said she is open to do a movie project again. Her last film in the country is “Type Kita Walang Kokontra,” which was release in 1999.
Now that she is back, Torres said that she misses a lot of things particularly sinigang na baboy and “ASAP.”
“Super masaya ako to be back here in the Philippines. It’s my second home. I’m able to enjoy this country that I love so much. Thank you for embracing me again as your own like you’ve always done,” she said.
Furthermore, she described the Philippines as a country that is “dear to her heart.”
