A rumor surfaced that the Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla is requesting to Star Magic manager Johnny Manahan to collaborate with Kapamilya singer Sarah Geronimo in a film.
Balita.net reported that Padilla proudly shared that he actually asked Star Magic head Johnny Manahan for a project with Sarah. “Sabi niya siya na raw bahala. Grabe yun, iba ang epekto sa akin nun, malaking impact nun,” he said.
The King of Hearts supposedly said that he has no romantic feelings for Geronimo, so his reel partner Kathryn Bernardo and their fans have nothing to worry about.
“Bakit naman? Kahit naman siya, isa sa iniidolo niya ay si Miss Sarah Geronimo. Saka wala namang malisya yun. Natuwa din siya dahil idol niya rin si Sarah,” he stressed.
Padilla and Geronimo teamed up for the first time in a performance last Sunday afternoon with their duet of “Ako’y Sa’Yo At Ika’y Akin Lamang” on “ASAP.”
The Popstar Princess was once paired to Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz. Geronimo and Cruz’s love team was proven to be a hit when their first film together, “A Very Special Love,” grossed over 185.2 million in the box office.
It was followed by “You Changed My Life” which grossed more than 232.2 million and its third installment “It Takes a Man and a Woman” with more than 405.2 million tickets sold.
Moreover, the Geronimo is set to return this 2017 through the teen edition of American franchise “The Voice.”
