Although President Duterte gave him a coveted government position, comedian Bayani Agbayani still resigned as a board member of MTRCB.
According to Abante, the Kapamilya star realized that being an MTRCB board member is not his forte thus he quitted. Because of this, many people commended the decision of Agbayani, saying he’s honest unlike some officials whose main goal is to grab a higher government position despite being inexperienced and incompetent.
Upon Agbayani’s resignation, a newly-appointee was introduced by President Duterte on January 30. Being a newbie, Rachel Arenas said her first week in MTRCB was just okay although there are lots of things to review, especially the programs from the past years.
“Maganda naman po ‘yung mga nakikita ko and ngayon kung tatanungin n’yo ako kung ano ang mga dapat baguhin, wala pa akong nakikita sa ngayon but I’m hoping that in my term, we get to amend what needs to be amended du’n sa ating batas kasi medyo matagal na rin ‘yon na nagawa,” she said.
Meanwhile, Agbayani continued his role in “Funny Ka Pare Ko,” a Cinemo sitcom exclusively in ABS-CBN TVPlus and Sky Cable
