Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera said in one of her interviews that Barbie Forteza could be GMA network’s “Kapuso Primetime Princess.”
However, Forteza said that she’s not yet ready to put an honorable title next to her name.
According to the 19-year-old actress, she was surprised and was glad to hear Rivera’s statement.
“‘Yun na nga, ‘di po ba? ‘Yung mga ganyang titles, mabilis naman po ‘yan makuha,” she said.
But Forteza added that anyone can get the coveted title as long as someone would star in a prime time show.
Nonetheless, the Kapuso actress felt honored that someone like Rivera has recognized her as an actress.
Forteza along with Kapuso actors Ken Chan, Ivan Dorschner, Jak Roberto and Addy Raj are the main casts in GMA romantic-comedy series “Meant To Be.” The show premiered on January 9 and revolves around the life of Billie, played by Forteza.
The “Boys Over Flowers”-esque series consistently beats its rival show in Kapamilya network in terms of urban ratings, according to AGB Nielsen.
