Kapuso fans show eagerness for the upcoming sequel of GMA’s 2005 series “Mulawin.”
Titled “Mulawin versus Ravena,” the series will surely astonish its fans as it is said to be a highly budgeted series like “Encantadia.”
Although its release is yet to be announced, GMA Films President Annette Gozon recalled on how “Mulawin” captured everyone’s heart back in 2005.
She wrote on her Instagram: “More than 12 years ago, Mulawin was the game changer for GMA 7. I can’t wait for it’s return. It was and is not just a fantasy drama. It is also a show that has an underlying theme of protecting and preserving the environment, a theme more apt today than it was 12 years ago. I hope that the young children will appreciate it and learn from it, just as its viewers did the first time it was aired.”
The series will star its original cast Dennis Trillo and Miguel Tanfelix with Regine Velasquez and Bianca Umali.
Moreover, GMA also announced Heart Evangelista as one of its cast earlier this month. However, her role in the series not yet confirmed.
Meanwhile, its casts such as Bea Binene and Derrick Monasterio have been undergoing a sword training. According to “24 Oras” report, the series will feature a lot of fight scenes on its episodes.
