AlDub’s first ever teleserye “Destined To Be Yours” finally aired its pilot episode on Monday night (February 27). And as expected, AlDub loveteam’s primetime debut on Monday made waves in the trending topics on Twitter nationwide.
According to Twitter Philippines, the related tweets to #DestinedToBeYoursWorldPremiere was able to reach 4.6 million tweets from February 26-28.
Based on the latest TV ratings released by AGB Nielsen for NUTAM (Nationwide Urban Television Audience Measurement), “Destined To Be Yours” got 22.5% versus its rival “My Dear Heart” with only 19.6%.
Directed by Irene Villamor, “Destined To Be Yours” tells a love story between benjie and Sinag. Richards play Benjie, an architect seeking to acquire a piece of land owned by the family of Sinag (played by Mendoza), who is a radio jock and environmental activist.
The all-star cast includes Boots Anson-Roa, Gardo Versoza, Tommy Abuel, Ronnie Henares, Ina Feleo, Sheena Halili, Dominic Roco, Juancho Trivino, RJ Padilla, Koreen Medina and Lotlot de Leon.
