ABS-CBN’s long-running afternoon soap winning finale episode and two rival primetime programs switching sit at the throne.
“Doble Kara” flew high on its farewell episode as it beats competition. In the latest figures from AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey for February 9 and 10, 2017, “Doble Kara” ended its run on a high note winning its timeslot over rival program “Hahamakin Ang Lahat”. The Julia Montes led afternoon teleserye edged its Kapuso rival by 1.9% on its finale episode Friday February 10, 15.9% to 14.0%. “Doble Kara” settled at number 3 on their final episode.
Meanwhile, GMA Network’s “Ika-6 Na Utos” has extended its reign on daytime as it continues to take the number 1 spot. “Ika-6 Na Utos” continued to top the daytime rankings making it hard for “Eat Bulaga!” to reclaim its former position. The Kapuso drama scored 18.0% on both days, besting the number 2 program “Eat Bulaga!’s” 16.2% and 16.5% respectively.
For primetime, archrivals “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “Encantadia” was on a tug-0-war switching primetime leadership on Thursday and Friday. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” took a 0.1% lead on Thursday 22.8% to 22.7%. That was the first time in weeks that the Coco Martin led action-teleserye took the primetime crown. But “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s” reign was sweet but short as “Encantadia” cut it off again on Friday February 10. “Encantadia” bounced back to the top and take the primetime throne again, 24.7% to 23.6%
