From the success of the MMFF film Vince & Kath & James to her upcoming teleserye this 2017, it is safe to say that Julia Barretto is one of the emerging actress of this generation.
However, not everyone starts from top. Sometimes, fate will test their patience first before they enjoy a great boon of their career; Julia is no exception.
At the A Love to Last blogger conference on January 7, the actress was asked if she came to the point where she almost gave up on acting and finding a leading man.
Julia willingly answered “I think giving up, wala `yun sa vocabulary ko eh. I always make it to the point that no matter how hard my falls are… kailangang tumayo ulit ako.
“I have to have courage to stand up again and try again. Try and try again until your dreams come true; until your prayers get answered.”
Impressed by her answer, MJ Felipe commended her, “Where you are right now, lahat `yan pinagtrabahuhan mo.”
“Hindi ako nag-give up pero I had my low points na parang ‘Meron pa ba out there? May chance pa ba ako?’ Pero wala, I didn’t wanna give up.” She added.
As the new chapter of her career begins, Julia proudly invited her fans to watch the special one-hour premiere of A Love to Last starring Ian Veneracion, Bea Alonzo, Iza Calzado, and Ronnie Alonte on January 9 after Ang Probinsyano.
