Based on data from Kantar Media, a local television viewership measurement company, the January 9 episode of the Ian Veneracion and Bea Alonzo-starrer hit a national TV rating of 25%, beating its competitor in the same timeslot.
“A Love to Last,” produced by Star Creatives, also conquered social media sites such as Twitter, where the show’s official hashtag #ALovetoLastWorldPriemere became a top trending topic worldwide.
Veneracion’s character, Anton, meanwhile, also created a buzz among netizens and trended on Twitter nationwide. Besides his good acting skills, Veneracion’s killer looks captured the hearts of the audiences.
As the love story of Anton (Veneracion) and Andeng (Alonzo) begins, viewers are given a glimpse of their lives and the matters of the heart they have to deal with. Andeng catches her fiancé cheating, while Anton tries to save his marriage with wife Grace (Iza Calzado) who is asking for an annulment.
