Kim Atienza will show why there is more to Korea than Koreanovelas and KPop as he celebrates his birthday the Korean way this Sunday (January 22), 10am on “Matanglawin” on ABS-CBN.
Atienza will discover a graceful form of ancient Korean martial arts called Sunmundo from a group of monks who are nestled near the mountains to protect their traditions.
The award-winning educational program host will also go to a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Bulguksa Temple, and the secret lamp post hole to get a glimpse of the revered Buddha’s face and see why people touch the golden pig on display.
Get to relive a historical Koreanovela as Atienza goes on a trip to Gyo Chon Village and see Korea’s own version Chocolate Hills at Tumuli Park.
