Karla Estrada welcomes new year with a bang.
The “Queen Mother” announces the arranged movie project with Vice Ganda entitled Barna. It is parody of Darna which may hit theaters soon. It will feature Karla Estrada as a parodied superhero Darna.
“Barna“ derives from a hit children show “Barney” and Pinay superhero “Darna.” It is a dream come true, Karla said, because one of her dreams is to become a superhero in a film.
“[Si Vice Ganda] mismo ang tumawag sa akin na Barna. So talagang sinabi n`ya na gusto n`yang mag-creatives dito kahit libre.”
“Lahat naman, gustong maging superhero. Nakakatawa, `di ba? Imbis na bato, apple `yung isusubo mo…”
Vice Ganda’s role in the film is still unknown. However, rumors suggest that he will be taking the parodied role of Valentina, Darna’s main enemy.
