Kapamilya afternoon drama getting ahead of its competition and rival primetime teleseryes exchanging sit on the throne.
ABS-CBN’s afternoon family drama “The Greatest Love” has finally overtaken its competitor. Based on the latest NUTAM TV ratings survey conducted by AGB Nielsen from January 2 – 6, 2017, the Sylvia Sanchez led teleserye beats Kapuso counterpart “Sa Piling Ni Nanay”.
“The Greatest Love” started its momentum on Wednesday January 4 when it tied with “Sa Piling Ni Nanay” on 8th spot with 11.5% ratings. It finally broken the tie and take the lead on Thursday January 5, 2017 and continued to lead on Friday January 6, 2017 with 12% and 12.1% ratings respectively. “Wowowin” and “Eat Bulaga!” meanwhile continues to shift daytime leadership.
The battle on primetime is getting hotter and stiffer also as rival “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “Encantadia” exchanged sit on the throne. “Encantadia” leads on Monday January 2, Tuesday January 3 and Thursday January 5 with 23.5%, 23.5% and 23.3% ratings respectively. “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” on the other hand took the primetime throne on Wednesday January 4, 2017 and Friday January 6, 2017 with 24.8% and 23.1% ratings respectively.
Meawhile, Jericho Rosales and Arci Munoz starrer “Magpahanggang Wakas” ended on a low note as it failed to beat rival “Alyas Robinhood” on their finale episode. “Magpahanggang Wakas” registered a finale ratings of 18%, 2.9% short from “Alyas Robinhood’s” 20.9% ratings.
