Kapuso afternoon drama surging to daytime top spot and Kapamilya talent/impersonation show continues to reign primetime weekends.
GMA Network’s “Ika-6 Na Utos” jumped to daytime top spot edging 2 former leaders “Eat Bulaga!” and “Wowowin.”
Based on the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey for the period of January 12 – 15, 2017, Kapuso afternoon soap, surged to the number 1 spot on Friday January 13 getting 16.2% ratings. The Sunshine Dizon-Gabby Concepcion led soap jumped 2 places from their number 3 ranking on Thursday January 12 with 14.5%. “Wowowin” and “Eat Bulaga!” which held the number 1 and number 2 position on Thursday went down to number 3 and number 3 respectively on Friday with 15.6% and 14.1% ratings respectively.
“The Greatest Love” meanwhile remains the timeslot winner beating “Sa Piliping Ni Nanay”, 13.3% to 11.6% and 13.1% to 11.9% respectively on Thursday and Friday.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and “Encatadia” on the other hand remains on a tug-o-war for primetime leadership. “Encantadia” held the primetime throne on Thursday with 24.0% as opposed to number 2 rank “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” with 23.7%. But the Coco Martin led action-drama teleserye bounced back on Friday taking the top spot with 25.1% as opposed to “Encantadia” which went down to number 2 with 23.3% ratings.
For weekends, “Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids” continues to held the primetime throne as it retained its number one ranking. YFSF Kids which crowned Elha as the weekly winner after flawlessly impersonating the mega star Sharon Cuneta scored 23.3% on Saturday January 14 and 22.9% on sunday January 15.
“Magpakailanman” followed in second on Saturday with 20.6% beating MMK’s Karla Estrada story by 0.1% which landed on the number 3 spot with 20.5% ratings.
“Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” and “Wansapantaym” were the number 2 and number 3 programs on Sunday with 20.6% and 18% ratings respectively.
