Kapuso variety shows continue to dominate daytime rankings and newest kapamilya primetime drama fails to impress on debut episode.
Kapuso noontime and afternoon variety programs “Eat Bulaga!” and “Wowowin” remain on a tug-o-war as they continue exchanging daytime leadership based on the latest AGB Nielsen NUTAM survey for January 23 and 26, 2017.
“Eat Bulaga!” led daytime programming on Monday January 23 with 15.0% ratings, 0.3% higher than the 2nd placer “Wowowin” with 14.7%. But “Wowowin” took Thursday (January 26) board as it led daytime programs with 15% ratings, 0.2% higher than former leader who slide to number 2, “Eat Bulaga!” with 14.8%. “Ika-6 Na Utos” remained afternoon drama leader at number 3 with 13%, followed by “Doble Kara” with 12.5% and completing top 5 is “Minute To Win It with” 11.7%
For primetime, newest Kapamilya inspirational drama “My Dear Heart” failed to impress as it bowed down to “Alyas Robinhood” on its pilot episode. “My Dear Heart’s” debut fell short by 0.6% at 21.3% to “Alyas Robinhood’s” 21.9% to enter primetime rankings at number 5. But with that small margin, can “My Dear Heart” snatch the timeslot leadership to the Dingdong Dantes starrer action series?
Meanwhile, “Encantadia” remained the primetime leader beating “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” 26.6% to 24.4% and 24.4% to 23.7% respectively.
