12. Claudine Barretto
Claudine Barretto was once considered the biggest artist of Star Magic, the talent management of ABS-CBN. That’s why many of her fans were shocked when she transferred to GMA Network.
There was a time back then when speculations about Barretto and Angel Locsin’s silent rift. The feud, according to speculatios, triggered her to make the “big switch”
Barretto allegedly was not happy with how Star Cinema is making special treatment to Locsin, especially when it comes to the projects which were supposedly meant for Barretto.
One of those projects is the supposed reunion movie of her and Aga Muhlach. Plus, she had conflicts with Piolo Pascual because the actor allegedly chose Locsin’s side.
On November 2009, Barretto finally left her home network and was welcomed by GMA. In the network’s teaser for its upcoming show, Barretto was seen at the last scene while saying the words with conviction, “See you this 2010, mga Kapuso.” Boom!

The Queen of Soul surprised many on Saturday when she performed on “It’s Showtime” and was introduced as one of the judges of Tawag ng Tanghalan one day after the end of “Poor Señorita,” a GMA prime time series where she was one of the main casts.
In an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda,” Jaya thanked GMA Network for giving her opportunity to grow as an artist. However, she emphasized that she “wants to break free” from something that she used to. And “flying now… with ABS-CBN is something God has planned” for her.
Jaya, then proudly said, “I am a Kapamilya.”
