In this season of giving, broadcast journalist Ted Failon focuses on giving back to the Filipino people as he features the various public service programs of his current affairs show “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (December 17) on ABS-CBN.
For seven years, the program has been serving the public in many ways, primarily in tackling relevant issues that are of national concern. However, outside the limelight, Failon has been leading his team in serving the public in a more direct manner.
Public service is one of the program’s trademarks, as proven by their efforts in Marikina, where they built a Foundling Home for children left by their families, and where they renovated and furnished the Home for the Aged that cares for many lolos and lolas.
They also built a Senior Citizen Center in Nagcarlan, Laguna for senior citizens who value education and still want to learn at their advanced age; and a multimedia center in Casiguran, Aurora, for students of Tinib-Calangcuasan Integrated School.
Find out how lives have changed through these projects of “Failon Ngayon” this Saturday (December 17), 10:45pm on ABS-CBN and ABS-CBN HD Ch 167. You can catch replays of “Failon Ngayon” on ANC, the ABS-CBN News Channel, every Sunday at 2pm. The episode can also be viewed on iwantv.com.ph or skyondemand.com.ph for Sky subscribers.
