Kapamilya star Sue Ramirez was named the new honorary tourism ambassador for Korea to the Philippines. The new singing sensation was chosen by The Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) for her “great image and interest in Korea,” its culture and people. She will then serve as tourism ambassador until November 2018.
On Instagram, Sue described her appointment as “a day to remember.” She wrote: “Dec. 19, 2016 is surely a day to remember! I was also given the chance to meet the directors of Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) from different asian countries! Thank you so much for having me. Kamsahamnida! #KTOWelcomesSue”
Sue is replacing Jessy Mendiola who became the honorary tourism ambassador in 2013.
On Instagram, Jessy was asked to react by a netizen about Sue replacing her as Tourism Ambassador for South Korea. She replied, “my 3 year contract ended already”
