Every year, Filipinos have always looked forward to ABS-CBN’s Christmas station ID and this year’s “Isang Pamilya Tayo Ngayong Pasko” song became a hit as it delivers an inspiring message that nothing is impossible in life as long Filipinos are united as one family in love and in faith.
ABS-CBN also reached out to Kapamilyas in the provinces via the Kapamilya Simbang Gabi, which was celebrated in Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral (Cebu), Naga Metropolitan Cathedral (Naga), Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag (Pangasinan), San Sebastian Cathedral of Lipa (Batangas), St. Francis of Assisi (Davao), and Parokya ni San Pedro (Bulacan) and broadcast on television.

ABS-CBN Sports mounted three basketball clinics in Bulacan, Navotas, and Quezon City and taught children aged 9 to 16 the basic skills in basketball, while Star Creatives and Cinema One teamed up to bring a free screening of “That Thing Called Tadhana” among students of Eugenio Lopez Jr. Center for Media Arts Senior High School.
“It’s Showtime,” meanwhile, kicked off its Christmas celebration and invaded Payatas through its “Hashtarana” segment, where Hashtags Nikko and Luke recognized a model family and gave scholarships to three children.
The Christmas festivities are not limited to Kapamilyas in the metro as ABS-CBN Regional spread the holiday cheers in Bacolod and Dumaguete via its community Zumba activities.
ABS-CBN capped off another love-filled Christmas season with its annual Christmas special held at a jampacked Araneta Colisuem, which brought cheers and warmed the hearts of Filipinos with production numbers from more than 200 stars.
Even Kapamilyas online joined the fun and raved about their favorites that made the official hashtag #ABSCBNChristmasSpecial trend on Twitter worldwide.
