Despite the entry of new big movies on cinemas nationwide, Star Cinema’s “The Unmarried Wife” still managed to earn more in the box office.
By Wednesday, November 30, “The Unmarried Wife” earned ₱190 million nationwide. It was released on November 16 and earned ₱17 million on its opening day.
Directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes, “The Unmarried Wife” follows the story of Anne and the decisions she has to make after she finds out that her husband Geoff is cheating on her. As her marriage falls apart, Anne meets Bryan, who helps her take away the pain.
The romantic drama by Dingdong Dantes, Paulo Avelino and Angelica Panganiban, is still showing in more than 100 cinemas nationwide.
