Age does not matter, even in business. A senior citizen couple will prove this on Tuesday (November 22) on “My Puhunan,” as they share the success story of their popular veggie bakery to Karen Davila.
Gloria and Carlo Malibiran manage Yelly’s Bakeshop, which specializes in pastry infused with vegetables for a nutritional kick. This business was left to them when their eldest child, Yelly, decided to be a missionary abroad. Before, they just sold regular pastries and sweets.
However, when their eldest child was found to have a tumor, they started to make their baked goods more “health-conscious,” with products like putok with malunggay and kalabasa pandesal, among others.
Apart from that, Davila will also get to talk with Sonny Francisco, owner of the famous Ferino’s Bibingka. Davila gets to know the story behind Ferino’s most in-demand offerings and will also get tips for people who want to sell bibingka this Christmas season.
Be inspired and amazed by Gloria and Carlo Malibiran’s drive for healthy baked goods and the delicious success of Ferino’s Bibingka on the award-winning ABS-CBN current affairs program “My Puhunan” this Tuesday (November 22) at 9:30pm on DZMM Teleradyo, and after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
