Regina Belmonte, daughter of Philippine Star president Miguel Belmonte, took to her Twitter account her disappointment regarding popular blogger Mocha Uson joining one of today’s leading newspaper.
She questioned the paper’s decision to allow the “reprehensible human being” to bring “garbage to a bigger platform to mislead the country.”
She posted her text message to her dad and said, “I just took a nap and woke up to Mocha Uson having a column in our newspaper? WHAT THE FUCK? I just sent my dad this text. Not sorry at all.”
She also added, “THE STAR WAS FOUNDED WITH ‘TRUTH SHALL PREVAIL’ UNDER ITS MASTHEAD. TO HAVE MOCHA USON PEDDLING LIES IN IT IS A DISGRACE TO MY LOLA’S MEMORY”
Belmonte also tweeted, “I’m so angry and so disappointed I’m fucking crying. I have never been more disappointed in my life. My God.”
Belmonte added, “There’s nothing more I can do than to express my displeasure, which I’ve done here and in private. I can’t change anything on my own. Sorry.”
She also called Mocha a “presstitute” and a “hippocrite”.
“PRESSTITUTE NA RIN SIYA. HIPOKRITA.”
Mocha was known to tag local media as being “biased to the Aquino administration”.
Mocha’s first ever column will be printed on the newspaper’s Op-Ed section starting this week. The owner’s daughter may dislike but we can’t deny that millions of people actually listen to Mocha. She earned their trust…
