GMA Network shows dominating daytime programming and “Encantadia” reigning supreme in primetime.
Kapuso shows dominate daytime programming taking most of the spots in the top 10.
Based on AGB Nielsen Urban Luzon survey from October 21 – 26, 2016, GMA Network shows ruled daytime programming taking most numbers in the top 10 rankings. Kapuso shows is headlined by consistent daytime top rater “Eat Bulaga!” averages 20.9% in the survey week, followed Willie Revillame game show “Wowowin” which averages 16.8%. Newest Kapuso daytime program “Trops” featuring Eat Bulaga Baes, meanwhile started strong as it debuts at number 3 on October 24 getting 15.5% ratings.
For primetime, “Encatadia” continues to reign supreme beating counterpart “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” in the whole survey period. The Kapuso fantaserye averages 27.6% beating Kapamilya action-serye by 6% at 21.6%.
24 Oras on the other hand remained steady at number 2 followed by Dingdong Dantes led “Alyas Robinhood” at number 3 and “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” in the number 4 spot.
Meanwhile, weekend programming is still ruled by Kapuso shows with “24 Oras Weekend” leading Saturday primetime at 25.8%. “Sunday Pinasaya” continues ruling Sunday daytime with 17.7% and “Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho” remains firm on its top spot hold on Sunday primetime with 26.3%
