As early as now, cameras have started rolling for Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla’s upcoming movie slated for next year.
Kathryn tweeted the news to her fans, “Day 1 📽”
Their movie director also shared some photos on her Instagram account about their first day.
“Thank you @dan_villegas at @dexterddp88 sa pa-ice cream!!! And thank you @igisellle sa pa-chips!!! Thank you too to @kebs_, Star Production girls headed by Madam Joyce for visiting our first shooting day last Wednesday! Lakas maka good vibes!!! #Kathniel2017,” she said.
During the movie’s story conference, Kathryn can’t hide her excitement for the film. She said, “Iba ‘yung vibe, masaya gawin kapag romcom. It’s very light, masaya gumawa ng [movie kasi] masaya lang sa set.”
For Daniel, doing a lighthearted film doesn’t mean skimping out on their acting. “Pahihirapan pa din kami ni Direk, hindi naman puwedeng masaya pa din. Pero ‘yun ‘yung maganda doon, doon ka naman mahahasa eh, diba hindi naman pwedeng madali lang lahat?” he said.
Directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, the still untitled movie will showcase some of the beautiful destinations in the Philippines.
