Former “StarStruck V” contestant Princess Snell, now called Nathalie Heart, proudly boasts her first acting award for portraying the role of manipulative, sexy and unpredictable character named Alice in erotic movie “Siphayo.”
Nathalie was named Best Actress at the IFFM (International Filmfest Manhattan) in New York City. She proudly shared the news on her Instagram account, “Tonight’s award woot woot 🎉 Good night everyone 😴 #jetlag”
In an interview by PEP, Nathalie proudly said, “It feels good kasi hindi na nila ako puwedeng sabihan ngayon na… ano yun, yung starlet. Hindi na nila ako puwedeng sabihan ngayon na starlet kasi meron na akong award. Ang masasabi nila, actress na ako, so it’s a good feeling as well. I mean, parang… nakakainis, e.”
The “Starstruck” alumna doesn’t have any idea of some of the classic movies that includes nudity. She’s maybe not aware of some of the movies of Vilma Santos so she thought, “Usually naman kasi, it’s not because naghubad ka, hindi ka na makakakuha ng award. I mean, I don’t know… Siguro kasi, yung execution ni Direk Joel Lamangan was very great dito sa movie.”
Despite her win, Nathalie shared, “Pero hindi ko masasabi na sobrang galing ko. I mean, I think I can give more. Siguro natuwa lang ako na nagustuhan nila ako, thank you so much.”
Nathalie added, “Siguro, as actor, iba-iba siguro ang levels ng gusto nating gawin sa pelikula. Siguro, sa pelikulang ito, hindi ko nakikita yung lahat ng puwede kong ipakita, but I think nagustuhan ng mga tao. Maybe they like the way I portrayed the character.”
Well, congratulations Nathalie! It doesn’t mean you showed some skin, it will make you less of an artist. You just showed how far you can go for that something we call ‘art.’
