Yesterday (October 17), singer-comedienne Cynthia Patag, who posted it on her Facebook page in an article format with the heading, “HE WAS NOT POOR” by Lydia M. Paredes made rounds on social media.
As Cynthia’s post became viral, Iwi Laurel, wife of Noli and mother of Nicole, was prompted to set the record straight in a post on her Facebook page Sunday and categorically stated that Noli was “not abducted, drugged and killed” and certainly “not a victim of ‘Duterte’s war on drugs’.”
DOT Undersecretary Kat de Castro reacted on the said issue.
“They say that Duterte’s supporters love making up stories… Well, how about this?,” she asked.
