Launched in April last year, Glaiza de Castro’s independent album ‘Synthesis’ has already reached the Gold Status (7,500 units sold).
On Instagram, Glaiza posted a photo of her with the man behind HomeWorkz, Jay-R and shared her gratitude specifically to those who believed in her. She said, “Didn’t really expect that from self producing 1000 copies, it’d reach more. Only because someone believed and listened to it. Otherwise these songs will still be buried in Garageband. Thanks for giving answers to my doubts, giving success to my failures and letting me do what I love that I once thought impossible.”
According to Glaiza during the albums official launch, ‘Systhesis’ showcases a collection of her memories and influences, of passion and potential, mixing multiple genres and crossing industries to create a new sound that is distinctly Pinoy. Aside from producing this album, ‘Synthesis’ served as Glaiza’s collaboration album with some of our local artists including Angelica Panganiban, Alessandra de Rossi, Chynna Ortaleza, Benjamin Alves and many more.
