People with special needs, such as persons with autism, can have it hard in life, especially when they have no one to help or empower them.
Fortunately, as Karen Davila discovered, there is a special place that enables these special people to work like other people. This Tuesday (September 20) on “My Puhunan,” Davila will visit The Puzzle Café, which has a crew of people with autism.
The place aims not only to serve good food to its patrons, but also to raise autism awareness among them. Isabel Canoy and her family established the food hub when they discovered that her brother Jose has autism at the young age of two.
Through “Puzzle Cafe,” they are able to help people with the same condition as her brother and give them a chance to work despite their condition.
Watch how Isabel and Jose Canoy battle through stereotypes along with their crew members at the Puzzle Café on the award-winning ABS-CBN current affairs program “My Puhunan” this Tuesday (September 20) at 9:30pm on DZMM Teleradyo, and after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN.
