The production of “My Love From The Star,” the first acting team-up of Jennylyn Mercado and Alden Richards, has been put on hold to give way to the much awaited first teleserye of the hit noontime loveteam AlDub of “Eat Bulaga.”
According to Fashion Pulis, the management decided to put the Korean teleserye adaptation on hold due to overzealous fanatics bashing Jennylyn and AlDub fans’ demand to prioritize the Alden Richards-Maine Mendoza before being partnered with any female star.
“Eat Bulaga” ended their ‘Kalyeserye’ segment on September 3 giving high hopes to AlDub fans of a possible teleserye soon starring their idols. Alden’s character named ‘Lakan’ will enter the magical world of “Encantadia” starting this week. Meanwhile, Jennylyn is currently busy taping her new show “Superstar Duets” and promoting her latest album under Ivory Records titled ‘Ultimate.’
First announced in April, “My Love From The Star” is a Korean drama about a good-looking alien who landed on earth and fell in love with an actress.
