It looks like GMA Network is really having a hard time getting a much better pair for Jennylyn Mercado since their first choice Alden Richards will no longer be available for he’s already preparing his first teleserye with onscreen loveteam Maine Mendoza.
Though Ken Chan is already a front runner among Kapuso stars, it looks like he fell short in some of the requirements needed to be Jennylyn’s partner in the series.
So, is it true that GMA Network tried to borrow Matteo Guidicelli to do a teleserye with them?
According to Fashion Pulis, GMA Network allegedly tried to get the service of Matteo Guidicelli to play the role of Matteo Do for the Pinoy adaptation of “My Love From The Star.” Blog reads: “Allegedly, the rival network was asked if the station could ‘borrow’ Matteo Guidicelli. Of course, the Kapamilya network would not hear of such idea.”
The Pinoy adaptation of “My Love From The Star” was reportedly put on hold by the management since they’re putting the AlDub teleserye on priority.
Matteo was last seen in the hit Kapamilya Primetime series “Dolce Amore” topbilled by Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
