Former ABS-CBN President and now ABS-CBN University’s head Charo Santos-Concio was asked about her reaction regarding Kris Aquino’s transfer to APT Entertainment and a possible TV project with GMA Network soon.
A Kapamilya for more than 3 decades, Charo said to veteran columnist Ricky Lo, “I wished her all the best and thanked her for all the years that she has worked for ABS-CBN and I acknowledged that she has given so much relief and happiness, and delighted our viewers.”
Charo has the best words for serving ABS-CBN for 2 decades. “I wished her all the best and thanked her for all the years that she has worked for ABS-CBN and I acknowledged that she has given so much relief and happiness, and delighted our viewers,” she said.
She even compared the scenario to Kapamilya stars who left abd return back to the network. She said, “Kahit na sino ang mag-decide umalis — like Aga (Muhlach), Sharon (Cuneta) and Willie (Revillame) — wala akong pagdaramdam, kasi importante kung saan sila masaya.”
Coming from the success of being the Golden Lion Awardee in the recently concluded 73rd Venice Film Festival, Lav Diaz’ latest masterpiece, “Ang Babeng Humayo” (The Woman Who Left) topbilled by Charo Santos-Concio with John Lloyd Cruz will be showing in selected mainstream cinemas beginning September 28.
