KathNiel has set a new record again with their latest new movie “Barcelona: A Love Untold.”
“Barcelona: A Love Untold,” the latest movie of the popular love team of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo has, made ₱23,000, 000 on its opening day on Wednesday (September 14).
The figures were announced on the ABS-CBN program “Tonight With Boy Abunda,” where Kathryn and Daniel sat down with Boy Abunda for an interview.
“Crazy Beautiful You” is now showing in more than 200 cinemas nationwide. KathNiel currently holds this year’s Highest Recorded First Day Movie Gross, previously obtained by Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza, known as AlDub loveteam.
Directed by Olivia Lamasan and written by Carmi Raymundo, “Barcelona: A Love Untold” follows the story of Ely (Daniel), a young man who can’t get over Celine, his past love, who meets Mia (Kathryn), a young woman who escaped from a painful past in the Philippines and is trying her luck to rebuild her life in Spain. They meet. They fall in love. But can they overcome the hurt of the past to have a future together?
