During the pocket presscon for Star Cinema’s upcoming movie titled “The Third Party,” Angel Locsin was asked about her reaction on reprising her eponymous role on a “Darna” movie slated for next year. Earlier this month, Star Cinema head Malou Santos confirmed the news in an intimate dinner-get together hosted by ABS-CBN President Carlo Katigbak for the Professional Artist Managers, Inc. (PAMI).
The 31-year-old actress who was recently featured on MTV Australia’s “sexiest list” told the press her reaction, “Very open ako. Ang laki ng naitulong nun sa career ko.”

Angel announced she decided to pull out of the “Darna” movie project in October 2015 due to a disc bulge in her spine. The 31-year-old actress first played the popular comic book superheroine in a 2005 Kapuso TV series.
