The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the agency that is responsible and organizer of the annual Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) has yet to announce the official entries for the upcoming film festival in December.
Compared with the previous MMFFs, the ‘ReelRevolution’ headed now by Emerson Carlos with the help of the stakeholders, the movie entries will no longer be based on its commercial viability and will focus more on its artistic excellence. Finalists will be announced by October 27 (short films) and November 10 (full-length).
As of today, we’re already seeing some major film outfits rolling their cameras for the possible entries. (We’ll update this page)
Take a look at some of the possible entries more likely to compete on this year’s MMFF:
1. Untitled Comedy Movie
Starring: Vica Ganda and Coco Martin
Producer: Star Cinema
Director: Joyce Bernal
