If veteran columnist Cristy Fermin reacted negatively on Maine Mendoza’s blog post about showbiz titled “That’s How It Works,” award-winning actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo agreed on the other half of AlDub’s thoughts about showbiz.
Maine’s blog published on July 24 talks about living in a world full of pretensions, especially in show business and how she wouldn’t change just to please people. Maine’s big statement on her blog post was, “We are not born to please everybody.”

When asked by PEP.ph about her reaction, Judy Ann agreed on Maine’s statements. She said, “Oo naman. Hindi ito showbiz kung walang plastic. Nasa iyo yun kung paano mo hihimayin ang mga plastic sa mga totoo. Kasi hanggang sa pinaka-most vulnerable moment mo, na akala mo yung taong katabi mo, e, totoo na sa ‘yo, magugulat ka. Yun pala ang pinaka-plastic sa ‘yo.”
In the end, she gave an advice to Maine. “She needs to brace herself for more roller-coaster rides. Because this is how show business works,” she said.
