It’s no doubt that GMA Network’s newest teaser for “Alyas Robin Hood” starring Dingdong Dantes is getting much more attention nowadays not just locally but also internationally just because it has similarities with The CW’s “Arrow?” starring Stephen Amell. Even the Stephen himself reacted on the “Alyas Robin Hood” teaser and posted it on his verified Facebook Page with over 5M followers.

“Alyas Robin Hood” is reportedly inspired by the English folklore “Robin Hood” who, according to legend, was a highly skilled archer and swordsman, where the television show “Arrow” starring Stephen Amell was also based.
Thousands of reactions were posted on Social Media by Filipino netizens regarding the “Alyas Robin Hood.” Of all the thousands of reactions, Mark Celtic Buenaventura’s post using our fan made art of “Alyas Robin Hood” got noticed by Suzette Doctolero, the concept developer and creative consultant for this upcoming Kapuso series.
Suzette Doctolero commented on a Facebook post by Mark Celtic Buenaventura. She said, “Dear everyone, paglilinaw, ang alias robinhood ay hindi pa naipapalabas kaya maaari bang malaman kung gaano kayo katiyak na ito ay hango sa arrow?”
Suzette added an explanation, “Ang arrow po ay hango sa kwento ni robin hood. Isa itong public domain story, meaning pwedeng paghalawan ng mga kwento. Kaya ang alias robinhood ay mula sa robinhood at hindi po sa arrow na komopya din sa robinhood. Unless po ang akala nyong title ay alias arrow? 🙂 na hindi naman kasi ito ay alias robinhood na ibang iba ang kwento kaysa sa arrow though the character of both ay mula sa robinhood.”
