Among all other movie and TV teasers we’have shared on our site, “The Greatest Love” has received the most comments, likes and shares and has reached over 2M on our Facebook page. The trailer is simply phenomenal… but it’s just the teaser, and we’ll surely see a lot more when the series starts.
The two-minute teaser video released online only on July 1, easily became one of the most talked about topics on Social Media for how they were moved by the story and how ‘very promising’ it looks.
The teaser opens with Gloria (Sylvia Sanchez) serving food for her children played by Andi Eigenmann, Dimples Romana, Arron Villaflor and Matt Evans. “Kung iniisip mong iisa ang tadhana ng pagiging ina, hindi mo pa nakikilala si Gloria,” the voiceover said.
The mood in the house immediately shifts when Amanda (Romana) arrives, who only came to see her mother since she thought she is about to die.
Disappointed to learn that what her mother had told her was another lie, Amanda says: “Wala na ba talagang katapusan ang kasinungalingan mo, Ma?”
A heated argument between Amanda and her siblings then ensues as Gloria gets flashbacks about each of her children.
Compared with other teasers we have seen, the attack is very different and the story offers unusual and promising plot. It’s a breath of fresh air for Philippine TV that is mostly focused on the stories about third parties, loveteams, etc.
