Enrique Gil is set to prove to his fans that there is more to him than his fresh-faced vibe and mean dance moves.
Star Cinema’s “Dukot” film trailer shows a raw, edgy, dramatic account of a family as it struggles to rescue their son safely from the clutches of his kidnappers. It features fast-paced action sequences and undoubtedly packs surprises and twists as the story develops.
“Dukot” is certainly a far cry from the blockbuster vehicles we’ve seen Enrique star in. ‘Dukot’ is also dubbed as Enrique’s first full-length performance in an independent film. The movie tagline simply asks, “Will they find him?”
Directed by Paul Soriano, “Dukot” is about a series of events that transpires when Enrique’s character Carlo becomes a victim of a kidnap-for-ransom ploy by a band of bank hold-uppers. The movie stars industry heavyweights like Christopher de Leon who plays the antagonist, and Ricky Davao who is cast in the role of Enrique’s father with real-life brothers Alex and Ping Medina and Shaina Magdayao.
