Just when we thought the grown-up Sang’gres would help “Encantadia” at least soar again in the TV ratings just like what the show have gained on their pilot episode.
The grown-up Sang’gres, Kylie Padilla, Gabbi Garcia, Sanya Lopez and Glaiza de Castro’s first appearance on the telefantasya was expected to give “Encantadia” a boost on TV ratings. Unfortunately, the show failed the expectations especially in terms of acting, then also the ratings, not just in Kapuso bailiwick Urban Luzon and also nationwide.

Eversince “Encantadia” premiered last week, the Kapuso telefantasya started with a bang on first day but scored a mediocre rating on the rest of pilot week based on AGB Nielsen for Urban Luzon while on Kantar Media’s nationwide data, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” remains unshaken and “Encantadia” suffered a big disappointment.
